To answer the question from Hikaria in a comment on my I want!item from today.
She asked if I was still stressed and yes I am very very! Yay for tennis :) Well I have more the urge to clean, craft and read blogs... but I just can't 'cause I have to pull myself in front of my laptop and write the damn thing! No escaping!
I'm feeling really down now :( I have just called 4 people for my internship ...
and none of them were positive ...
"Too far to drive to everyday"
"We are only with 2 people..." (x 2)
"I don't think I can learn you anything 'cause we're doing the same thing over and over again..."
I mean, you get a free worker in your company! Come on! (we don't expect get paid)
It's so confusing, they ask me what I have to do and I'm like: you have to decide ...
'Cause school didn't gave us a list with the things we ought to do when I'm doing internship (I soo hope I'm using this word right)
I'm freaking out ... And I skipped two hours of school today (the other 6 hours were to important) to work on my paper...
Now I'm going to eat and write write write !!!
I'm currently stressing really really bad, I have to finish a paper for 12.30 h on Friday.
It's about how Shintoïsm (a japanese religion) influenced the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright (famous American architect) and him as a person. It's interesting, although it doesn't sound like that ^^;
Everytime I say my research question to someone (in a real quick way), they are like: ugh? What? Hihi it's fun ^^.
We also have a big presentation thing on Thursday, luckily I have everything for that one finished *sigh* (the course for which we had to do those patterns , the paper sculpting, boxes and stuff, which you can expect some posts in the future when everything's wrapped up.)
So about my paper, I have to finish it for Friday, I have yet to write the most important part of the paper, got 3.455 words and I need 5000 and I'm stressing!! yikes! *big big sigh* And I don't feel like typing ... I wanna craft!! and draw and do stuff! School is taking up my life!
Btw these two things aren't the only things, we also have a 2 groupprojects, 1 design (which is very important) that needs to be finished, I have to look for an internship,(I hope this is the right word, you go work with someone to try out, you're still in school and you don't get paid a lot) also before Friday (I'm a procrastinator at some things...), I have to visit 4 more buildings sites, and in between go to lessons (we have a lot of classes) and maybe a study a bit ... I'm probably forgetting some things... Oh yeah, and make a comic book.
soooo this was enough rambling for today.
Hope you enjoy(ed) your day, I'm going to get ready and head of to my dorm!
If you have time, would you guys be so kind to fill in the form on the right...
I was wondering if you like the music that's playing.
Thanks! And about my trip to Switzerland and Italy in the end of March, ... I will rapport you day to day 'cause in one post it will be to much and I don't think I have time for that so in tiny bits it is!
oh I almost forgot
I have now a feature on the right where you can ask me anything!!
So if you have questions about my blog, me or just want to talk, leave me something there, and you'll get an answer!! I promise!
As you might have noticed I'm changing and adding some things on my blog. A new thing are the pages on top of the blog, see the Home, Pogress and Links? Those are separate pages for easier access. There are empty now but I'll work on them (if I have more time). Ooh! I'm also posting something about my shop soon (well soon.. somewhere at the end of April!) Hope you look forward to it!!
I felt like doing my nails today so I did! I loved the look on Violet Le Beaux lace nails and decided to try it.
I grabbed a toothpick and started dotting away ^^. The base is Rimmel nail polish, 381 Russet Flame, a nice deep red. And the white has been in my fridge so long I can't even read the name anymore...
As you can see, I didn't get a lace effect but I do like the dots. Have to wait longer before I apply the top coat... I smudged the white dots 'cause I didn't have enough patience to wait until they fully dried. Note to self: lots of nail polish takes more time to dry!
Ooh and remember I'm a beginner in this stuff ^^
What do you think?
I also made my box today! Yay! Pictures are coming tomorrow ^^
And on Friday, I'm going to have a haircut! It's been seven months ...
This Shoujo anime involves around Mogami Kyoko, a 16 year old girl whose life is always running around her youth friend (and crush) Fuwa Shou, a boy who's working his way up into the music charts of Japan. When she finds out ,one day, that he only "lives" with her to let her play his maiden, she is out for revenge (who wouldn't!) by outdoing him in the showbusiness! With a little "persuasiveness" she can enter an audition for the 2nd largest tv company of Japan. Because she is missing something, she isn't accepted as idol but has to partake in the "Love me" section of the company...And for better more information there's always wiki
The anime has 25 episodes.
What do I think?
This isn't your regular shoujo-anime. You can see this in the first episode. The evil revenge thoughts Kyoko has, are always very funny. And her changing moods cracked me up every time. But don't forget the right dose of bishounen!
I would recommend this anime to everyone who loves humor, acting, craziness and romance! I just became happy every time I saw it and on the end of every episode I was sooo curious to see what would happen next that I finished it in 3 days! (this was the first time I finished an anime so fast and I had school all day!)
I loved the music especially the song of Fuwa Shou.
It's an original story with a couple of very fun sideways, nice music, and the chibi's and dark mode of Kyoko are very funny!
Ooh! AND there is a liveaction coming up! A Taiwan one *giggle* called Extravagant Challenge starring Ariel Jin and Jerry Yan (don't know them but maybe you do) can't wait! I was hoping for a Japanese one but this is better than nothing!
On Monday there was a flee/bookmarket in town so my brother and I decided to go and see if there was anything interesting...
and there was! (there always is!)
Here are the things I bought
Firstly I found a chainnecklace which I thought would be good to use for a junknecklace. Only 1€.
I also bought some jewelery supplies, both for 0.50 € so 1 € for the two.
Then I saw two Harry Potter books in English: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone andHarry Potter and the Goblet of fire. I already have all of them in Dutch but I have been reading them in English too and I wanted to have them so I can write in them and well just have them :D They were 3€ and 5€ but I managed to get the two for 7 €. Jeej!
I was also looking for some little record that I could melt or turn into earring holders. I found 4 for 1.50 € (instead of 2 €)
I found these 2 cute containers, the Tweety one is a heart shaped container and the other one was a tea container. Both of these will be decorated! Jeej! Can't wait to try out the silicones I bought a while ago.
Each one was 0.20 € so 0.40 € for the two.
The book that you see on the picture is a English/Japanese dictionary. In August there was another flee/bookmarket here in town and I bought the Japanese/English one there, thinking I didn't need the other one. That was stupid of me so I was very happy when I saw this one still laying there! 5 €
And as piece de resistance! 2 Asian type parasols. I asked how much for one parasol. He said: "this one (the one on the left) is for free! The wind had made it go flying and since it's from paper, it's broken in a couple of places."
The other one was 1 € so I bought them both! Don't really know what to do with them yet but I couldn't not bring them. *squeal*
I have been meaning to try out something new in jewellery making.
I got these little things which you can flatten so that beads stay on their place. I knew this but I had never worked with them so here's my first bracelet made with those beads (and lovely pearls I got through a swap which I have yet to send back some stuff to my lovely partner!)
And here's my decorated ring holder. I used modeling paste and some of the clay food things I made last time.
I used this tutorial to make it. When my mum saw I cut up a sweater of her (which she had thrown in a garbage bag to give to charity) she said: "My NICE SWEATER!!!" hihihi.
She threw it away, so I could use it, right?
What do you think?
Mood: working for school Location: at home Music: My newest LOVE!: Kevin McHale ~ Dancing with myself!
Since I haven't finished my post about my trip yet, here's another post.
This is what kept me busy the last 2 days:
See the large white space above it, that's the part I still have to do *sigh*
We had to design a pattern ourselves based on a triangle pattern.
This is what I had come up with. I can't decide which colour I'll use for the larger pattern (the white space)...
anyone got an idea? I have to use 2 strong colours and 1 in between.
Help is always welcome!
@Maria Isabel: I follow architecture at college. We get lot's of these assignments for one course. (You'll see more updates with my progress on these projects 'cause we have to finish these after the Easter Holiday and there are a lot of them! yikes!)
If you want I can share the pattern with all of you so you can make things like these yourself. You'll have to wait a few days though.
I came back yesterday morning but I was a bit to tired to blog (read I slept almost all day)
You'll have to wait a few days for a new blogpost since I have to organize my pictures and start working for school.
See you sooooon!
