Singing exam coming up!
Sabrina, my very lovely singingteacher, said today that my singing exam is going to be on the 22th of May.
Now I'm getting nervous!! The two songs I'm going to sing are 'Popular' from the musical Wicked and 'On my own' from Les Miserables (can you see the musical theme ^^ ).
Another song we were practicing today was 'Don't make me over'. And after the exam, no more singing lessons T_T. Makes me very said to think of it ... Next year I'm so going to join again ^^ I LOVE it! yay ^^
If you don't know the songs, here are they
Popular from Wicked by Kirsten Chenoweth
On my own from Les Miserables by Lea Salonga
And here's Don't make me over by Glee (I LOVE LOVE LOVE GLEE!, if you love singing too you should check out this series!)

Oh my God you sing! Hahaha I... haha... ha. Well let's just say when we went to karaoke in Japan, all my friends said 'we've never known pain until today hearing Tiff sing'. I'm tone deaf, key deaf, and I don't know, just generally deaf all around :P.
ReplyDeleteGood luck for your singing exam! I can't imagine singing well at all haha.
Wow, you are singing and having an exam in that, too??? I wish you good luck! Would love to hear you singing!!! :-))
ReplyDeleteMy singing is only good enough for the shower or karaoke in Japan, if others hear it they will really get in pain, hahaha! :-)))
@Hikaria: lol :D I have done karaoke once, in Düsseldorf, in the basement of a hotel (on the Japanese street). It was fun! Love to do it again! and thanks for the support ^^
ReplyDelete@Thanh Thao: teehee ^^ I don't know if I can sing that good but I love singing (you can read more about it on the "about me" page at the top of my blog) Maybe, really maybe, I'm going to post a clip or mp3 file of me singing... (I'm not going to post it on youtube)so I have to find another way :)
Hey, I am living in Düsseldorf, so we are not really far away from each other :-)) The Karaoke bar is in a hotel called Nikko in our so called "Japanese street", I've only visited the restaurant there, but not the karaoke bar yet! We should go together the next time :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear your singing, if you don't wanna post it you could send it to me (then it stays private :-)
@Thanh Thao: Maybe we could! and that's a great idea about the singing thing! thanks ^^
